Relais Santa Anastasia

In the heart of the Madonie Natural Regional Park in Sicily, just 100 kilometres from Palermo stands a small jewel that is set between the sea and the mountains. Founded in the 12th century by Ruggero d’Altavilla, the old monastery has been recently renovated and converted into a charming Relais that is nestled amidst the beauties of Mother Nature, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves belonging to the estate.

The chapel, the guesthouse, the refectory, the old storerooms, the library, the cloisters and the gardens have all been skilfully transformed through the use of carefully chosen materials and tasteful modifications to the original structure. The music room with its majestic fireplace, the billiard room, the Spa, the gym, the lounges, bars and restaurant are all at the disposal of our guests to provide them with a range of different spaces where they can enjoy their leisure time and relax in complete peace.

The 29 rooms have been carefully furnished in the elegant style which is typical of the Madonie area and each room bears the name of a different type of vine.

Looking out across the sea, on the edge of the panoramic terrace lies a large swimming pool with a Jacuzzi surrounded by the spectacular views of the mountains which open out in front of you and whose nature trails can be enjoyed on foot, on horseback or by bicycle in a park that covers 400 hectares, in the midst of which nestles the Relais Santa Anastasia.
