Le Petit Tonneau, a glimpse of the world
Indulge into authentic foods labelled “Made in Sicily”
In the historic centre, located a few steps away from the Medieval Wash-house is the Le Petit Tonneau enoteca (or wine shop). An enchanting corner in the Gulf of Cefalù that offers one of the most evocative views, as well as refined and exclusive products. A real glimpse of the world to be seen beyond the arch overlooking the pier of the Norman town, giving breath-taking sunsets accompanied by the sound and the scent of the sea.
And it is right here, on the terrace that the customers of the enoteca can enjoy the famous Italian aperitivo, sipping good wine and tasting local products: a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, prestigious local pâtés, jams of all kinds and the sought-after Sicilian sfincione (a thick Sicilian pizza). You can also find all these products on sale, ready to be enjoyed at any other time and place.
Le Petit Tonneau, opened in 1995, is a real rediscovery of the local food and wine traditions, the small moments of indulgence labelled “Made in Sicily”. The shelves of the enoteca are full of delicacies and typical wicker baskets to be given as a gift to continue to enjoy the tradition even outside of the shop. A prime destination for foodies, with a second store opening shortly.
Le Petit Tonneau Winery&Putia will be located opposite the Club Med centre and, in addition to being designed as a real wine shop, will identify itself as a concept store dedicated to everything Sicilian. An alternative way to savour the excellence of Trinacria in the broadest sense of the word.
