The gourmet restaurant “La Quercia” which is located inside the Vallegrande Resort is open every day (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) both to the hotel’s guests and to non-residents.
This top-level restaurant is the jewel in the Resort’s crown. It is distinguished by its wonderful location, the tasteful choice of furnishings and, above all, the excellent quality of the food. The dishes on offer are Sicilian specialities that have been revisited with a creative talent and innovative flair. Breakfast, for example, serves a great assortment of croissants and delicious pastries that are baked on the premises, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, milk and infusions, fruit juices, jams and organic honey.
It is also possible to have a light lunch here, maybe even at the pool bar, the perfect place for an aperitif in a relaxed atmosphere.
Dinner is served in the dining room with huge panoramic windows that look out over the woods nearby. There are delights for the palate and surprises for the eye. One of the restaurant’s specialities is the preparation of bread and fresh pasta. In fact, one of the chef’s signature dishes is a flower-shaped ravioli filled with ricotta and lime and served with a Nebrodi black pork sauce. Another culinary delight is a typical Trapanese fish cous cous which was introduced here in the heart of the Madonie region by the chef.
It is the perfect combination of the sea and the mountains for which the Madonie region is justly celebrated.
